“Supply Chain Challenge” – LHU Students Develop a Supply Chain Managerial Mindset

Supply chain management extends beyond theoretical models and classroom knowledge; it involves continuously addressing real-world situations that require analytical thinking, coordination, and effective decision-making. With the aim of bringing academic knowledge closer to professional practice, the Logistics Club of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University (LHU) provided students with an engaging environment for learning and professional exchange through the seminar “Supply Chain Challenge – The Challenge of Supply Chain Management.”

On the afternoon of September 23, 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University organized a Logistics Club session in Room B203 featuring the seminar “Supply Chain Challenge – The Challenge of Supply Chain Management,” with insights shared by Mr. Bui Thanh Tam. The seminar was one of the Logistics Club’s activities for the 2026–2027 academic year, designed for students in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program as well as other students interested in the field.

Through the seminar, students had the opportunity to explore supply chain issues from a practical perspective and connect them with the professional knowledge acquired during their studies. The speaker’s insights helped broaden students’ understanding of logistics and supply chain management while enhancing their awareness of the managerial mindset and competencies required in professional environments.

Beyond enriching students’ professional knowledge, the Logistics Club provides an environment in which students can interact, exchange ideas, and develop skills relevant to academic learning, scientific research, and professional practice. In particular, the Faculty–Industry–Student engagement model brings students closer to real-world professional contexts while they are still at university. Strengthening these connections is also one of the key objectives of the Logistics Club.

The “Supply Chain Challenge” seminar therefore not only expanded students’ knowledge of supply chain management but also encouraged them to think proactively, raise critical questions, and progressively develop a professional mindset. Each Logistics Club session offers LHU Logistics and Supply Chain Management students another opportunity to extend their learning beyond the classroom, engage with real-world practice, and better prepare themselves for their future careers.

The Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Bui Thanh Tam for dedicating his time to engaging with students and sharing valuable professional knowledge and practical experience. The collaboration among guest speakers, industry partners, and the University contributes to meaningful learning experiences while further strengthening a practice-oriented learning environment for students in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program.
